Course Instructor: Mr. Robert Reyes
Royal Expectations
Potential Consequence: (Not in any particular order)
Make up work
If a student is unable to complete work/activity in class, they will be offered opportunities to make up the work they missed. It is the responsibility of the student to communicate to the teacher about the work they missed. HPWB make-ups are after school on an appointment basis. Please see me to set up a convenient time for the both of us. In addition, please notify your parents of the appointment and arrange for transportation in advance.
All work should be handed in on the due date. If you fail to meet that responsibility, your assignment may be turned in 1 calendar day late. Example: Due date is on a Monday, the assignment needs to be handed in on Tuesday to receive any credit. If an assignment is due on Friday, it needs to be handed in on the next school day, the following Monday. This means you will need to find me the very next day. Due to our school block schedule, the next class meeting is considered late.
** ALL assignments missing your NAME will earn a zero (0). **
Loaner Policy
Loaner clothes and towels are available in the boy’s locker room office. Citizenship grade is lowered one (1) letter grade each time you borrow.
Detention and Campus Beautification Policy
Detention will be issued during the times of nutrition, lunch, or after school. There is a “double double” policy. If a detention or campus beautification is missed, the detention or campus beautification time will be doubled.
- I will come to class prepared, on time, ready to learn, and ready to participate.
- I will respect myself, my classmates, my teacher, and my education.
- I will raise my hand and wait to be called on if I wish to contribute to the conversation.
- I will follow all teacher directions.
- I will follow all school rules.
Potential Consequence: (Not in any particular order)
- Verbal warning
- Campus beautification (trash pick up)
- Detention (nutrition, lunch, and/or after school)
- Phone call home and/or parent conference
- Removal from classroom and/or referral to assistant principal
