Fitness Lab
Your fitness lab experience includes:
* Daily fitness training principals such as FiTT, SMART Goals, Overload, Specificity, Progression
* Fitness Club Simulation (Planet Fitness, L.A. Fitness, 24-Hour Fitness...etc.)
* Instruction includes proper use of free weights and pulley machines

During the 'Fitness Lab' experience students will have the opportunity to use the "GTS Gravity Machine". This pulley system paired with a glide board allows the students to ease into strengthening. We introduce the students to 'Fitness plan' development and basic strength training skills. Jumpropes, stability balls, and free weights (dumbell & barbell 65lbs. max.) are also available.
In the fitness lab, we teach our students that it is more important that they learn to 'Tone-up' rather than 'Bulk-up' by using lighter weight resistance & higher repetitions while strength training. 'Toning up' exercise ensure that the middle schooler's body will mature at a normal rate.
